We take into consideration the way kids learn, the environment, and what's best for families. Public and charter schools are both state funded and controlled. Each state chooses what they feel is appropriate for students at each age. Each state varies on what they teach, and they do not take into consideration each child. It's a one-size-fits-all method. There is no "gold standard" that students need to know to graduate. The state gets to dictate what and how your children learn... and we have all seen how great that has turned out (insert sarcastic tone). Whereas, all the schools, whether publicly funded or private, still operate on the same Prussian Model which is a toxic environment for our children and has been proven for many years to not be a successful way to educate our children. The government is well known, for not being quick to act and their inability to adapt for change.
